Paul McCubbin is leader of the Technology and Cybersecurity team for Age Equity Alliance.
He is a technology professional, student- athlete, and restaurateur originally from New York, NY. He was brought up in Ridgewood, NJ, before settling in Queens, NY. He is best known for his work in community building, and his advocacy of humanism and smart aging economics in a digital context.
In 1995, McCubbin changed careers and went to work as a system administrator for the Dickinson School of Law in Carlisle, Penn.
In 1997, McCubbin moved to New Jersey and was employed as a technology consultant for the Jannon Group, a Cisco networking equipment value-added reseller. The company was sold to NEC in 2001.
In 2006 after leaving NEC McCubbin took a senior consulting position with the Forsythe Solutions Group of Skokie, Ill.
In 2012 he went to work for Cablevision Systems, Inc as an engineer in their software development lab. He accepted voluntary retirement in 2016.
